Cancellations

By the company – If your booking has to be cancelled by the company due to adverse weather or any other reasons, the entire amount paid will be reimbursed to the account that the funds were paid from.

By the customer – If your plans change, you may alter the date up to 7 days before without a penalty but subject to availability. You have up to 12 months to re-book. The price of the alternative date will be as published. If you cancel your booking entirely you will forfeit your deposit. If you do not turn up on the day without prior notice, you will be liable to pay the company the full cost of the charter. Cancellations between 7 days prior and 2 days before charter will be charged at 50% of the published rate.

Safety & Comfort

Your safety is our top priority and you will be given a safety briefing before setting sail. Some tips:

1. Dress suitably for the weather conditions. We advise bringing an extra layer of clothing to protect against strong sun or unexpected wind chill. Seven is stocked with blankets just in case.

2. Sea sickness and boat motion. Please give this consideration and discuss any concerns with the skipper on arrival.

3. The Skipper is the boss. Please respect their instructions and also talk to them about any concerns or if you are feeling unwell.

4. Moving around on deck during passage can be wonderfully exhilarating. It can also be dangerous for 2 reasons. Firstly, there is a small risk of accidentally falling overboard. Secondly, there is a risk of slipping and hurting yourself on hard surfaces or moving parts.. Don’t ruin your day.

5. Take special care when embarking and disembarking and when moving around the marina. There are often trip hazards.

6. Sun Screen is advised even when it is cloudy.

7. No smoking on board and please drink in moderation.

YOUR DAY

Please arrive in good time and plan to use one of the nearby car parks. If staying at a hotel, consider taking a taxi.

Bring an additional layer of warm clothing.

In warm weather, there will be the opportunity to swim or use some of Seven’s water toys.

Food and Drinks – Unless arranged with the skipper, only snacks will be provided along with hot and cold (non-alcoholic drinks). You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks for consumption onboard.

The Skippers – All our skippers are highly qualified and experienced Yachts Masters. It is likely they will have sailed the Atlantic several times and encountered every imaginable condition.

‘Hands-on’ – Always at the discretion of the Skipper, you can get involved at the helm and interact with the navigation and handling of the boat. Be part of the crew.
